Favorite Lipstick & Fitbit Charge HR

Happy Friday! Is it just me or did this week fly by? It's been a while since I've had a full week in the office at work due to being sick, snow/ice days, or just random meetings so I feel like I had a lot of catching up to do.

This week I'm bringing you two things I use absolutely daily.

This is my most favorite lipstick I've ever ever ever used! And I'm not just saying that because I sell it. It feels so light and sheer, but it has a nice color to it. I've never seen this color look bad on anyone no matter their skin tone, style, or hair/eye color. It's just the perfect neutral without being too little color. Since I have such dark hair and dark eyes, but lighter skin, I'm always making sure colors aren't too light - like the darker, bolder colors. This is just perfect in every way. It's also not too pink and not too red or too orange.

To purchase Natural Beauté, you can contact me via my Mary Kay website and I'll give you 30% off if you mention this post! Natural Beauté retails for $18 + tax and shipping.

I'm sure everyone knows about Fitbit, but the Fitbit Charge HR is just another level of fitness bands. It measures you steps, flights of stairs, calories, sleep, AND your heart rate! It's absolutely amazing. Also, with a double tap, it will tell you the time, so you're not losing the function of wearing a watch on your wrist.

Another cool thing about the Fitbit Charge HR is that it will alert you when you receive a phone call on the device it's paired with. I think that's so cool, but the other day someone called me as I was putting some raw chicken into a hot pan and I accidentally slung the chicken onto the floor when my wrist started vibrating - oops!  You can also make it your alarm clock in the morning by setting up alarms from the app on your phone.

With just a press of the little side button you can track workouts and it will pair with apps like Myfitnesspal, which is totally awesome!

I also really like the way it fastens on. Unlike most fitness bands, it actually has a watch clasp, which helps it to stay on. I know so many people who got fitness bands for Christmas or birthdays and it ended up falling off their arm because the clasp came undone. With the Fitbit Charge HR, that won't happen!

You can also see how it takes your pulse using the little green box and sensors. You can also turn the heart rate feature off if you'd like to save the battery life or the green light bothers you while you're sleeping (ehem, that's me).

The Fitbit Charge HR is a little pricey, but with the Apple Watch*  coming out in just a few weeks which has a few of the same functions and begins at $350, the $149 sticker is nothing for this Fitbit. You can find out more about what the Fitbit Charge HR does, or order it here!

*I am not knocking on the Apple Watch at all. In fact, I think it's pretty awesome. I'm notorious for being an early adapter, so I'll probably have it by May if I'm being honest.

Well, that's all I have for today! Have a great weekend and check back next week for more Friday Favorites!
